Yu NiaoNiao's surname, "余" (yu) means surplus. Her first name, "袅袅" (NiaoNiao), has many possible meanings[1]. The word 袅袅 can be used to mean:

- Delicate and graceful (Referring to a woman)
When used singularly, the word 袅 (niao) means delicate.
